Youth Programs
|
The Belton Martial Arts Academy youth programs are
designed to provide children ages 7 - 12 with a SAFE and POSITIVE
environment. We treat our students with RESPECT and encourage them in a
positive manner to attain the goals they strive to achieve. Note: Children under the age of 7 must have completed the Karat-A-Tots program or have demonstrated advanced proficiency in techniques in order to be eligible for the Youth Program. Student Creed 1. I intend to use Tang Soo Do to develop myself in a positive manner and I will avoid anything that will limit or reduce my mental growth or my physical health 2. I intend to develop self-discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and in others 3. I intend to use what I learn in class constructively and defensively to help myself and my fellow man and I will never be abusive or offensive

Tang Soo Do training produces a life-long commitment to heath and personal integrity. It teaches respect for self and others. Parents tell us of improvements in their children's attitudes toward responsibilities at home and school. Tang Soo Do provides the tools children need to strengthen both their minds and bodies. The instructors and students at Belton Martial Arts Academy always welcome visitors to come in and observe a training session. Often people have a misconception regarding training in the martial arts, so observing a training session is the best way for you to see exactly what we do in Tang Soo Do and if it is for you! It is always recommended that you contact the dojang first so that we can let you know the best time to visit. If you have any questions regarding your observations, the instructor will be happy to answer them for you at the end of class.

Student Testimonials I did Tang Soo Do because I thought it was cool. Although it is cool, it has taught me many things. I have learned to work hard. I have also learned to make goals and stick to them. Tang Soo Do has taught better self control and focus. Above all, I have learned to believe in and be proud of myself. Dominic Cirimele, age 7
Tang Soo Do feels great. Ever since I've been doing Tang Soo Do, I've lost a lot of weight. I have more self-discipline and I'm doing better in school. My self-confidence has grown stronger knowing that I can defend myself. I'm proud to be a senior white belt and I'm looking forward to being the senior orange belt in my class.... most of all I'm made friends and had a lot of fun. Dillon Green, age 11
